BLM Quantum takes out mobile campaign for 'Eastern Promises'
LONDON - BLM Quantum is to run a mobile marketing campaign on the O2 network for the forthcoming UK release of Pathe's thriller 'Eastern Promises', starring Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen.
The David Cronenbourg-directed film, which is released on October 26, is being promoted through a BLM Quantum-created WAP site offering downloadable rich-media content and display ads on the O2 network.

According to BLM Quantum, around five million O2 customers are able to access the 'Eastern Promises' website by clicking on an ad, which will allow them to download images of the film's main actors, an extended theatrical trailer and film synopsis, which can be forwarded to friends by text.
'Eastern Promises' follows Mortensen's involvement with a Russian organised crime gang in London and Watt's accidental uncovering of a murder plot, and is Cronenberg's first major work since 2005's 'A History of Violence'.
Gavin Reeder, head of strategy at BLM Quantum, said: "The potential for mobile marketing is enormous as mobile advertising is perfect for viewing and sharing exclusive content.
"It enables Pathe to pinpoint target audiences and tease a wider audience of movie goers."
