Channel 4 kicks off 3D Week tonight with Paul O'Grady and the Queen
LONDON - Channel 4 is hosting a week of 3D programming and advertising starting from 5pm today with 'The Paul O'Grady Show' followed by 'The Queen in 3D' at 9pm.
O'Grady's show will appear in three dimensions at points during the programme, while the Queen documentary features a 3D colour newsreel of Elizabeth II, created over 50 years ago during her Coronation year and shot by cameramen Bob Angell and Arthur Wooster.

Viewers will have to grab their 3D glasses, available free from Sainsbury's, to see footage of the Queen at various events in 1953, including the Epsom Derby and a Thames trip on the Royal Barge.
At 10pm tonight, Derren Brown is presenting a '3D Magic Spectacular', showcasing the world's greatest and most shocking magicians performing in 3D.
During the rest of the week, viewers can tune in to see the 3D version of Paul Morrissey's 'Flesh for Frankenstein' on Wednesday, along with thriller 'Friday the 13th Part III' in 3D on Friday.
Viewers can also watch 'The Greatest Ever 3D Moments' on Saturday, followed by 'Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert' in 3D on Sunday.
T4, running on Saturday and Sunday, will feature various 3D segments, including a performance by JLS, and guest appearances by Pixie Lott and 'Twilight''s Michael Sheen.
Channel 4's '3D Week' is sponsored by Sainsbury's. The supermarket chain is distributing C4's dark blue and amber coloured lenses but will not be running any 3D TV ads.
Courvoisier will be the first brand to air a 3D spot during '3D Week'. The cognac brand's ad will be shown during several shows, including 'The Queen In 3D' and 'The Greatest Ever 3D Moments'.
ING Direct and JLS are also running 3D ads during the week.
