Everyone expected big things from Phillips when she was promoted to chief executive at the end of last year. The announcement marked her fifth step up since joining Proximity in 2000, but 2007 has been lacklustre for the agency. That said, the creation of a technology and trend division and the signing of a new managing director were steps in the right direction.
