Gaydar boosts sales and marketing team

LONDON - QSoft Consulting, owner of the Gaydar portfolio of radio stations and websites, has this week bolstered its sales and marketing department with two new appointments.
Margaret Tapping has joined from the gay and lesbian publishing house Square Peg Media as a sales executive. She is responsible for selling across QSoft's online platforms, including personals sites gaydar.co.uk and gaydargirls.com and the new social networking portal, gaydarnation.com. She reports to cross-platform sales manager Matt Newton.

Matt Joshua has also joined QSoft in the newly created role of marketing executive of Gaydar's new flagship bar and entertainment venues, Profile and Lo-Profile, which both opened in Soho last year. He reports to QSoft sales and marketing director Trevor Martin.
Joshua joins from QX Magazine, a gay scene and listings magazine, where he was deputy editor for the last two years. Joshua has also worked in promotions and marketing for a number of entertainment venues and events including Gay Lifestyles, Summer Rites and Soho Pink Weekend.
