TBWA\London restructures creative department

LONDON - TBWA\London is restructuring its creative department in Whitfield Street and has promoted Al Young to deputy executive creative director.
Steve Henry, executive creative director of TBWA\London, has decided to promote Young who previously worked as his deputy at Howell Henry Chaldecott Lury for many years.
The restructure also includes the promotion of Tom Malt from head of project management to creative services director and Frazer Jelleyman to head of art as well as his current role as creative director.

At the same time, the creative team of Adam Chiappe and Matt Saunby have decided to leave the agency after two years.
They worked primarily on Nissan Qashqai which is now complete for the year and Henry is in advanced discussions to hire a "heavyweight team".
TBWA poached Chiappe and Saunby from Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy where they had only been for six months, working on the agency's Thorntons and Metropolitan Police accounts.
Young joined TBWA last year as creative director, running PlayStation Europe, Twix and Galaxy.
Prior to that he was executive creative director at FCB London, where he was responsible for local London businesses like Heals, Waitrose and Weetabix along with global clients including Nivea, GM Chevrolet and SC Johnson.
Young worked at HHCL from 1990 to 2003 with a year's gap in 1996 to direct ads.
During his time at the agency he created "orange man", the first of the "You know when you've been tangoed" TV campaign, five more Tango ads and TV work for Pot Noodle and Martini.
