LONDON - Orange has confirmed that it has appointed Chemistry to handle its £22m UK direct marketing account.

At the beginning of the month, Orange parted company with Wunderman after a one-year relationship.

Orange had chosen Wunderman in a pitch involving incumbent Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel, Chemistry and WWAV Rapp Collins.

Chemistry will now be handling Orange's direct response advertising, direct mail and digital marketing across the brand's business and consumer markets.

Justin Billingsley, brand director at Orange UK, said: "Orange is going through a period of exciting evolution with the introduction of our new brand campaign, which will affect all consumer touchpoints.

"Chemistry really showed us they have the knowledge, hunger and passion to produce top quality work for our brand. Their experience in the DM arena is second to none and we very much look forward to working with such an exciting agency."
