The agency has remixed the commercials, adding a new soundtrack to each ad.
Instead of Phil Collins, the Gorilla can be seen drumming along to Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart", while the trucks race down the runway to Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer" rather than Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now".
Watch the ad here, and tell us what you think.

oh dear, that is laaaazy.
Trucks is actually much better with that track. Gorilla is wrecked though.
They've managed to massacre/ re-hash and therefore de-value one of the most memorable campaigns for years....such a shame
Terrible, I actually cringed when I saw this, its was so powerful the first time, even if you hated it, the talkability was massive, now its all sped up, slowed down, we know when hes going to sniff the air blah blah, rubbish! Come on Cadbury, come up with summit else! or I will stop buying your chocolate*
* I probably won't its so nice and creamy.
Both aren't as good as the original IMO. The Gorilla one is particularly bad, I can see how the Bon Jovi track cold work but it just looks like they cobbled something together in a day as nothing seems in sync. WEIRD!
It would be easy to criticise what was a great campaign and I was looking fwd to seeing them, then watched them twice to mkae sure. Ruined.
All these trilogies, Indiana Jones back, ads back with new music, celebs famous for BB.... ORIGIANLITY. We are eating our own digested culture, last time that happened in the animal world we had BSE.
FUCKING RUBISH!!!! CRAP FIRST TIME AND NOW A DODGY RE EDIT AND TRACK CHANGE.... CADBURYS WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PLAYING AT???????
Too lazy for words. The excellent original has spawned a load of remixes on YouTube, this will hopefully be quietly forgotten...
I'm pleased to see not one post criticising Fallon. Because I'm sure this was all Cadbury's idea... I noted the client getting all excited about it before it aired – calling themselves "A Glass and a Half Productions" doesn't help. I think they've forgotten it was all a joke to start. And taking themselves way too seriously!
Oh dear. Was initially excited to see Gorilla come on screen, thinking 'there's bound to be a clever twist that my small, creatively limited mind, just couldn't conceive of'. My breath was literally bated...then...err...nothing. What a let-down. As has been said above, lazy lazy lazy. So bad it has even undermined the goodwill that was created by the first execution. How can clearly talented people get it so wrong. Smacks of a cut and paste and just doesn't work. I am a little bit sad now.
What was the point of that? They should've reshot the drumming in the gorilla ad. His movement may match the music on low-res YouTube, but you can see the cracks on TV.
Pointless and unsatisfying - as advertising as well as 'entertainment'.
I also think the trucks ad is a vast improvement, but still a heavy price to pay for a substandard gorilla
I was hoping to see the gorilla on the back of one of the trucks \(or all..) or at lest something original. BORING!!
