The firm was established in 1995 by Robert Simmons and Paul Trickey, both of whom are staying on.
Monitor Media "fits well" with CACI's own data and analytics activity, CACI said. "The acquisition of Monitor Media fits well with CACI's strategic plans to offer their clients a multi-channel marketing solution that combines both offline and online elements to help improve customer optimisation, retention and profitability," the company said.
CACI, whose parent company is based in Virginia, USA, was founded in 1975 in the UK, and now generates over £41.3m in revenue. Employing more than 550 people, CACI hosts marketing databases for clients including EDF and Telegraph Media Group.
It has been best known for the Census-based neighbourhood profiling tool ACORN, until recent moves into the digital space.
