LONDON - Chrysalis Radio's Creative division has been hired to produce the radio campaign to promote the Star Wars 30-year anniversary event that is taking place in London next month.
The campaign will mark the first time the Star Wars franchise has used radio since the first film's release in the 1970s and this exclusive creative project is being carried out in conjunction with Lucas Film and media agency MWI.

Star Wars Celebration Europe will be held at London's Excel centre from 13-15 July, with the main radio campaign kicking off on Monday.
George Lucas, the Star Wars director and producer, has approved the concept, scripts and voiceovers, which have been recorded by impressionist Jon Culshaw.
From Monday, two 40-seconds ads will go live across London on a number of stations including Virgin Radio and Xfm, featuring the original music and sound effects.
