BMB writes letter to Jan Moir to promote 'homcom' film

LONDON - Beattie McGuinness Bungay has written a letter to maligned Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir, to promote the showing of a new film about three homosexual couples.

The movie, Mr Right, follows the life of three homosexual couples, and is coming to the UK after a US release last year.

BMB’s ad takes the form of a letter to Moir, who provoked outrage after comments she made about the death of former Boyzone singer Stephen Gately, who was gay.

A spokeswoman for BMB said: "Mr Right is a film that appeals to both straight people and
homosexuals... we're anxiously awaiting Moir’s response."

The ad will run in this week's Time Out magazine.

BMB partner Trevor Beattie was one of the film’s producers.

Slightly dull, humourless and all a bit cheap really. Nothing clever about it - which you'd normally associate with BMB. On a \(low) level with the Sun's hectoring approach to GB's letter to Jacqui Janes...and maybe as badly judged?

Why involve her? They should have a bit of dignity.

I agree. and as a gay man I have absolutely no interest in what someone like Jan Moir has to say on anything gay.

Carla, Grilla's sexuality will remain a secret. Because not all of us feel the need to reveal to the world what our sexuality is at every available opportunity. [Grilla's swing both ways, in case you were interested.]
