Honey Monster Foods 'Sugar Puffs' by Bray Leino

The Honey Monster returns to TV screens as part of a £3.2m multimedia campaign for cereals Sugar Puffs, Honey Waffles and Honey Meltz.

Bray Leino created the 20- and 30-second executions, which will run until May on GMTV, Five, Nickelodeon and multichannel, and again from early July to mid August.

The comical spot sees the Honey Monster and his housemate performing a musical ritual before they tuck into their Sugar Puffs.

It ends with the tagline "Feed the fun".

Oh my god .......I know we all like "The mighty Boosh " but we don't rip it off so blatantly. That really really bad.

Pete Jackson

Pete Jackson - 12/03/2008

Don't understand this - If they were serious about making this connection, why not just give Fielding a big bag of money to do the ad. Feck it, even write the ad! Would have been funnier and with credibility, opposed to this empty, try-hard cool-by-assocation execution. Potentially good, but dissapointing. >

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer - 12/03/2008

Noel would never do that!! its far too early for him to endorse products, think of the potential damage to his stand up career

if noel is ever in an ad i know he's lost it, it's a testament to them that crimping is famous but yeah, it's somewhat totally shite

Aw bless, Julian Barratt is completely invisible. This is a travesty though, the Boosh should sue! It even uses the same words as some of their crimps. TOO FAR, SUGAR PUFFS. TOO FAR.

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer - 13/03/2008

probably brokered a deal to get infinite supply of SP if they don't kick up a huff. Would explain the state of Fielding's teeth!

funny how you lot are moaning bout this ripping off the boosh, yet when mother did their first post office ad it was cool, even though they blatantly ripped off Phoenix Nights. Me smells some kind of snobbey in the air...

Jack

Jack - 14/03/2008

The post office ad was never cool and neither is this (I don't care if that's snobby)

Whoa there, i hated the Post Office ads (and still do). This is nowhere near as bad, acually i think its a bit of a grower....

The Boosh isn't even funny!!!! Most people I know think it's crap!!! This ad is good!!!!

Phil Hickes

Phil Hickes - 19/03/2008

You can't have it both ways. If the Boosh isn't funny then neither is this ad because they utilise the same comic device. No matter how many exclamation marks you use!!!!!!!

willy borrell

willy borrell - 19/03/2008

Ohh Lisa !!!!!! If you want more people to know you are furious TYPE BIG AND SHOUTY.......!!!!!!!!!!
