Did you know that Mr.T is gay? Gives this campaign a whole new meaning.

I liked the first one with Mr T in the tank, and the banned Snickers advert with the fast walker, though this one is a little flat in comparison. However, I do see that its part of a larger campaign so there might be more to come from Mr T and AMV BBDO??

I suppose this could be described as a little flat but when you take into consideration you're supposed to follow this on at getsomenuts.tv (not really that clear) it's really quite good. I love the way Mr T has substituted bullets (round his neck in the above) and rockets (at the URL above) for Snickers. Nice touch at the end of the web ad too when the chopper hits the chimney stack! Wasn't too much of a fan of the TV spot but when combined with the website I found this highly amusing! Could do with more of a CTA at the end of the TV ad though I think?

Really good timing and everything. Mr T is of a certain era and similarly Snickers will always be Marathon, and for a large proportion of the audience this provides a double fix of retro, feel-good remembering. Plus. Big plus. It's non-PC. Thank fu*k!

Can't get the ad to play. Does anyone like Led Zep? How about Michael Jackson's appearance at O2. Why didn't Sean Bean do the V.O.? Or Zoe Wanamaker. Or Stephen Fry and Paul Merton? Are there any good voice overs out there who aren't bloody so called celebrities that don't constantly invade our lifetimes? Of course there are. I think creatives nowadays are so thick, they can't think of anyone else!

I'm sure the ad is very good. But I always preferred it when it was a Marathon bar.

I couldn't give a XXXX what Mr T's sexuality is, but I do wonder if Stanley would have the guts to say that to his face. The ad makes me laugh about a great product with a rotten brand name. Marathon says what it is. You can't eat too many Marathon's whereas I have eaten 10 shredded wheat before. Snickers is a dreadful name, makes me think of 'sniggers' (as in a bunch of stupid schoolboys). The tank ad was great. Mr T represents the anger and frustration of so many people in this country right now. By cutting through the crap, he's our Hero! Knock-em-out Mr T.

Two things. First, I think this campaign is weak. Sorry all - it's been stretched way two thin. The first few were great executions, but the line 'Get some nuts' is bigger than these later executions. Two, Stanley, get a life. Second,
