McCain rolls out redesign for potato range

LONDON - McCain is relaunching its Prepared Potato range to bring it in line with the brand's 'It's all good' positioning.

The packs, which have been redesigned by branding agency Elmwood, will emphasise the range's ‘healthy' ingredients through the use of natural colours and a matt finish.

The aim is to create a unified identity to help consumers distinguish the range, as many of the products in the Prepared Potato line are not merchandised together.

The packaging design is also intended to give each item its own identity. The 12 core products in the range include Home Roasts, Lightly Spiced Wedges, Hash Browns and Smiles.

McCain has also recently overhauled the packaging for its Oven Chips and Home Fries ranges.
