Commonwealth Games: Dog Digital lands Glasgow 2014 brief
LONDON - Glasgow 2014 has appointed local agency Dog Digital to develop a website and digital communications platform to incorporate the new brand identity for its hosting of the Commonwealth Games.
The web is to be a critical element of the games' organising committee communication strategy, and the new site will feature interactive content to help recruit the team of volunteers to help run the games; social networking elements; video shot during the build up to the games; and information on the sports and the venues.

Dog has already built an interim site, to bridge the gap between the bid phase and the planning stage. The final site will go live next March.
John Donnelly, director of marketing and sponsorship at Glasgow 2014, said: "Dog Digital responded with a consistently high quality and detailed proposal, which left the Organisiing Committee in no doubt that they are our ideal partner agency."
Dog Digital's other clients include Scottish Power, NHS 24, Visit Scotland and Scottish Widows. The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games run between 23 July and 3 August.
