CNN to study multi-platform audiences

LONDON - CNN International has formed a London-based global digital research team tasked with coordinating research across new platforms.

Headed by David Webb, a CNN research director since 2005, the team will measure how audiences are consuming CNN's content across non-linear platforms such as the internet, mobile phones and IPTV.

It will have global responsibility for CNN's international products, including its flagship TV station.

In 2007, CNN is set to launch new IPTV services across Europe and has already relaunched its mobile product in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
