Mobile marketing industry bodies to develop global guidelines
LONDON - International industry body the Mobile Marketing Association and not-for-profit forum dotMobi Advisory Group have signed a global agreement to develop best practice guidelines.
The Industry Alliance Memorandum of Agreement has been created to encourage global growth of the mobile internet by looking at best practice and commercialisation of the industry.
Michael J. O'Farrell, MAG's chair and executive director, said: "Industry cooperation and collaboration are key drivers for the successful future of the mobile internet economy.

"The alliance between the dotMobi Advisory Group and the Mobile Marketing Association provides dotMobi and our members with the global insights and perspectives to recommend industry-accepted and adopted best practices for dotMobi style guides, as well as policy compliance programs to support global consumer-based .mobi domain trustmark efforts."
The MMA represents more than 450 mobile marketing companies worldwide.
