ITV takes big shows to small screen by hiring Kilrush as mobile partner
LONDON - ITV has committed to building new mobile properties for hit shows such as Britain's Got Talent and Coronation Street by signing Kilrush as its mobile publishing partner.
The appointment of Kilrush is the first time ITV has entered into a 12 month contract with a mobile publisher, having previously relied on Kilrush and other mobile providers for consultation and project work. The contract was awarded by ITV after a competitive pitch involving some of these companies.

Kilrush, part of Mobile Interactive Group, will build iPhone apps and other smartphone apps as well as creating mobile sites for ITV's most popular shows.
ITV already provides mobile users with content for This Morning, The X Factor and several other of its hit shows but intends to create more engaging and relevant content for more of its shows, the broadcaster said.
Matt Cockett, commercial director of Kilrush, said that the agency will be working with ITV.com's production team to expand its mobile interent programme over the coming months.
