Virgin Media creates Power-Up app for YouTube
LONDON - Virgin Media has created a YouTube app that enables users to customise their videos and those of others.
Virgin Media's new 'Powerful Stuff' YouTube channel, created by Saint, enables people to add their own effects including sounds, music and visuals to videos they have made or a selection from YouTube.

The campaign is designed to reinforce Virgin Media's image as a supplier of super-fast fibre optic broadband. The association with video is meant to promote Virgin Media as a provider of multimedia content.
Rich Duff-Tytler, senior online marketing manager at Virgin Media, said the campaign celebrates entertainment while reinforcing the association of the Virgin Media brand with online video.
Virgin Media was found to provide the fastest broadband in the UK, in a recent study of broadband providers. But rival Sky was found to offer the best value for money in its service.
