LONDON - Peugeot has launched a website for existing customers to help them understand their car's features and remind them when servicing is due.

The My Peugeot  site was designed and created by Underwired and is being rolled out initially in the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany.

Customers will find information about their car's history and future requirements, service reminders, dealership information, offers and promotions, news feeds and product news.

Users must register their VIN number and select modules that interest them, as well as colour schemes and self-selected RSS feeds. The site also provides content tailored to each individual's specific needs is provided by Peugeot's in-house team.

The site comes after Peugeot announced an increased focus on social networking in August with the appointment of ClickThrough Marketing.

Despite a slow down in consumer demand for cars, Peugeot launched several models over the summer, including the 7 seat 5008 model.

In June Peugeot unveiled its new Tepee range of cars, supported by a website and online ad campaign, created by roster agency Euro RSCG 4D Digital.
