The Premier League (according to Facebook)
LONDON - With Liverpool today becoming the first British football club to pass the one million fan mark on Facebook, the social network is proving to be a great place for sports brands to thrive. But how do England's top 20 clubs measure up on the world's most popular social network?
Liverpool launched its official Facebook fan page on 18 May and has since gained over one million fans. The Merseyside club was quick to get its official page up and running while others were late to the party and two have still to join in the fun.

This story has been updated since we first published it. Chelsea FC has 394,000 fans, not the 9,359 fans as previously stated. Sorry Chelsea fans.

Can Facebook tell us how many of those fans were born or live within 25 miles of their club? Time to out the glory hunters!

its a global game now, and the premierleague is a global league. there is no way you could have such high demand \(pushing up prices and creating revenue) with only fans from within 25 miles of the club, even the new Chelski ones. Its time to embrace it...
