Space Hopper flash mob in Yahoo! takeover
LONDON - Sony Ericsson's online space hopper Flash mob will take place at 3pm tomorrow (Thursday 29 October).
Thousands of space hoppers will invade yahoo.co.uk at 3pm - the culmination of a marketing campaign for Sony Ericsson's Satio handset, which enables mash-ups between pictures and chat.
The 'hopper invasion' involves people creating their own customised space hopper, which will also feature elsewhere on the web, with creators being encouraged to look out for their very own.

The event may be the first branded online Flash mob and has been created by Dare.
T-Mobile was one of the first brands to use Flash mobs in its ad campaings, including the Liverpool Street dance, which has just passed the 15 million views mark on YouTube.

That was pathetic, a really poor execution, which lasted just 30 seconds and also affected usability of Yahoo.co.uk. They got it all wrong in my opinion.
