Ford names global marketing chief
Ford has named Jan Klug, the woman behind the launch of the Ford Focus, as its new vice-president of global marketing.
LONDON (Brand Republic) - Ford has named Jan Klug, the woman behind the launch of the Ford Focus, as its new vice-president of global marketing.
Since joining as marketing communications manager in 1998, Klug has been responsible for a number of campaigns including the launch of the Focus and the “no boundaries” campaign with J Walter Thompson. Last year, she was awarded the title of Automotive Marketer of the Year by US trade magazine Automotive News.

Klug replaces James Schroder who recently resigned. She will report to Robert L Rewey, group vice-president global consumer services and North America.
