BNP leader Nick Griffin 'slapped' 20 million times by internet users
LONDON - Twenty million virtual slaps were administered to British National Party leader Nick Griffin following his appearance on Question Time last week.
SlapNickGriffin.co.uk, created by Albion London, invited users to slap the BNP leader in the face. Incredibly, Albion reports that each visitor to the site has slapped Griffin's face an average of 181 times each over the weekend, meaning that the first 11 million slaps were delivered by only 60,000 people.

Albion is now in the process of switching the game over to a static version, after the site took off to a far greater extent that they had expected. Twitterers, in particular, were spreading news of the site among each other.
Griffin appeared on Question Time last week in spite of many people protesting that the BBC should not be airing the BNP's views, which many believe to be racist.
The BBC defended the decision to include Griffin saying that his party had demonstrated support among the national electorate and that it was not up to the broadcaster to censor Griffin.
Almost eight million people watched the broadcast.

I have never condoned happy slapping... until now!! However, having just tried to log onto the site, it seems like it's finally been taken down.... The following message now appears where that slapped arse should have appeared... _________________________________________________________________ 'After watching the build up to Question Time on TV, we wanted to see how people felt about Nick Griffin, so we put up an application called Slap Nick Griffin. The experiment has attracted 20 million slaps, which we think is enough, so it has now been taken down. ' _________________________________________________________________ Oh well.. There is an alternative way of seeking some form of satisfaction though in the absence of the happy slapping and that's a little clip taken from Question time of all the things that Nick Griffin may as well had said - copy and paste the youtube link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QAvkFS_cgk&feature=player_embedded
