LONDON - Technology website group CNET Networks is launching an on-demand video website on Monday that will feature 60 minutes of programming each week.

CNET TV will run programmes lasting between 7 and 15 minutes, covering music, film, video games and technology.

Programmes include 'Reel Report', which is devoted to the film sector, 'Encoded', which will feature reviews of established and up-and-coming bands and 'Car Tech', which puts automotive technology at its heart.

This latest offering marks a further expansion of its online video offering.

In August, CNET.co.uk relaunched to take into account the growing demand for video and added a revamped media player, offering companies advertising opportunities within the video and pre- and post-roll.

Computer and electronics firm HP has signed up as an exclusive sponsor for the first two months of the new service, which will be available at CNETtv.co.uk.

CNET Networks also publishes GameSpot, Silicon.com, ZDNet.co.uk and atlarge.com.
