Newcastle City Council has appointed Linda Scott as interim head of comms for an initial three months. Scott replaces Peter Holt, who has joined Bristol City Council as director of comms and marketing. Scott was formerly head of comms and marketing at Hull City Council. She left in August to pursue a career as an interim manager and strategic comms consultant.
