P&I Promotional Merchandise Report: Promotional Pens
LONDON - This year P&I is running a series of reports within Marketing magazine focusing on the latest developments in the promotional merchandise sector.
In May P&I looked at promotional pens, running two features. The first explores what companies can do when it comes to building their brands using the exterior of this versatile promotional product. The piece involves both opinion and a set of fake briefs for industry players to try and fulfill.

The second feature feature looks at impact of environmental concerns on the pen sector and how it has risen to meet this challenge with innovations like making pens from recycled or biodegrable materials, to ways of reusing waste plastic left over from the manufacturing process. It also explores who is buying these products and how good they are compared to their standard equivalent.
