LONDON - Diageo gin brand Gordon's has created a range of branded gifts as part of its marketing activity in the run-up to Christmas.

The range, which is targeted at consumers who want to make the ‘perfect G&T’, include a lime squeezer set, a cocktail shaker, chocolates and branded glasses.

The products are part of a £750,000 campaign led by a repeat of last year’s TV ad featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay showered in limes, ice and tonic.

At the end of November the brand will embark on a direct mail and online push to Gordon’s 400,000-strong database.

Speaking about the campaigns Alex Smith, Gordon’s marketing manager at said: "Gordon's & Tonic is already associated with special ‘transition' moments such as week to weekend, day to evening, and at meal times.

"A perfectly served G&T is a great way to kick off any Christmas event. We hope that our exciting gifting options will help consumers create their own perfectly served G&T's at home."

A number of brands have attempted to spin off with the creation of gifting options. Most notable of these is Marmite and Guiness. Marmite in particular launched The Marmite Store last year, whose branded products include cycling tops and toasters.
