Is the Champions League ad fee justified?

ITV has raised the price of its TV ad slots for next week's Champions League slots by more than 50 per cent, according to industry insiders Is Champions League ad fee justified? Is ITV playing fair, or do you think it is taking advantage of its exclusive coverage?

i wouldnt say it was fair, but they are trying to get more money out of it, which makes sense. the best two english teams are playing each other, according to the league table, and they have the exclusive rights. it would have been watched by millions of people all over the world, but now that two english teams are playing there is a huge interest from the english public as well.

    id say its understandable.

I think it would be marvellous if no-one wanted the ad-space and we were treated to a 3 minute Tom & Jerry cartoon just like the good ol' days

It's a free market and the market will decide.

ITV have had a rough run of late so they'd be daft not to maximise the lucky break of two English clubs making the final.
