PR Week UK 30-Oct-09

Reviewer Kate Slater, account director, Kate Slater PR, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

- What is it good for?

This rooftop restaurant offers great food and panoramic views across
Newcastle and Gateshead Quays. It is ideal for entertaining colleagues
or dining with special friends. Excellent service, a good mix of diners

and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

- Signature dishes

The food is British modern cuisine, simply cooked and regionally
sourced. Northumbrian beef is a speciality.

- Who's the boss?

Six is run by Fresh Element, gourmet caterers and food partners to
Baltic since 2008. Managing directors Peter Hunt and Andy Ross set up
Fresh Element in 2004 with renowned local chef Richard Sim and rural
business entrepreneur Ian Brown.

- Tips please

Floor to ceiling glass walls make an aperitif in the viewing room a
great experience. Private dining for up to 25 people is also
available.

- What's the damage?

For lunch and daily specials, £15-£25 a head. A la carte
dinner dishes range from £20-£40.
