PDV acquires NDL Realtime to bolster consumer data business
LONDON - Permission-based marketing company PDV has acquired database firm NDL Realtime, as part of the expansion of its on and offline consumer data protection business, for an undisclosed sum.
NDL Realtime specialises in gathering real-time sales leads from digital and traditional media clients, and was founded by Tony Coad and Bill Burey. It will form part of PDV's additional revenue streams for its consumer response data business.

PDV, which is behind the Daily Draw, Chooseaprize and Fair Exchange consumer websites, has an opt-in policy towards all of its customer contact business. It offers prizes, loyalty programmes and competitions for consumers who choose to reveal information about themselves to marketing companies.
Derick Hill, managing director and founder of PDV, said: "This is the first move in PDV's planned expansion and development of its online and offline consumer interaction, data collection and online advertising divisions.
"The acquisition will enable us to tap into the growing demand for real-time data and to expand our customer entertainment and interests range."
As part of the agreement, Coad and Burey will join PDV as business development directors.
