The X Factor draws 10.2m viewers on Saturday
LONDON - ITV1's 'The X Factor' is still proving to be the winner in the battle of the autumn TV talent contests, attracting an average audience of 10.2 million viewers on Saturday night, adding up to 42% of the watching public.
The show saw a peak of 12 million viewers tuning in to watch the remaining contestants tackle the rock music genre. In the results show on ITV1 last night, Londoner Rachel Adedeji was voted out after a sing-off against teen heartthrob Lloyd Daniels.

Saturday's episode of 'Strictly Come Dancing' drew an average audience of 8.4 million viewers, peaking at 9.5 million, or 42% of the available viewers.
They were treated to sniping between the judges as well as the now routine exasperation at the public daring to vote for the contestants they like, rather than the ones that judges deem to be good.
The dancer who was booted off the show, actor Zoe Lucker, had been praised by judges for her performance of the samba but lost out to more popular performers such as cricketer Phil Tufnell.
The judges on 'The X Factor', lead by Simon Cowell, are also up in arms at the tastes of the public, particularly in relation to the popularity of the Irish twins John & Edward. The pair struggle to sing in time or in tune each week, but survive the vote.
The BBC has been criticised for scheduling the show against 'The X Factor'. Figures have shown that up to 2.4 million viewers switch over to the BBC during 'The X Factor' ad breaks.
