Sky News research panel relaunches
LONDON - Sky News has relaunched its online research group Sky News Panel with improved navigation and more in-depth surveys.
Developed in partnership with digital research agency eDigitalResearch, the site also features a new feedback area for members to see results of earlier surveys.
Simon Bucks, associate editor at Sky News, said: "The Sky News Panel has always been a good way for us to interact directly with viewers and the upgraded site will make this powerful tool even more valuable.

"When panel members tell us what they think about topical issues, we can then use their input to contribute to our reporting across all our news platforms. Ultimately it helps us understand what our viewers want to see and, what the important issues are to them.
"We're looking forward to working with new panel members and getting even more out of the new and improved site."
The relaunch will be supported by an online and TV recruitment campaign that aims to attract new panel members.
Michelle Fuller, director at eDigitalResearch, said: "We have worked closely with Sky News over the past six years to develop its user panel product.
"It is a tailored system that enables the news team to keep their finger on the pulse of public opinion.
"It is a really smart use of digital research and we are proud to have developed the next generation Sky News Panel."
