LONDON - Cardiff City's shirt sponsor, CommsDirect, claims to have turned down a £500,000 offer from an undisclosed Asian online gambling company for its advertising rights for tomorrow's FA Cup final.
The Welsh side has defied the odds to reach the Wembley showcase tomorrow, where it will meet Premiership club Portsmouth FC.
CommsDirect, which sells 3G mobile phone contracts, says that although tempted by the lucrative offer the opportunity to have global television exposure on Saturday was too good to sell off.

The company's two-year sponsorship deal with Cardiff City, who plays in the Coca-Cola Championship, expires after tomorrow's final.
