LONDON - Barclays plans to close a Goldfish call centre resulting in the loss of 900 jobs.
The global lender acquired Goldfish in February sparking rumours of closure. It has said it will offer a "comprehensive package of advice and support" to any staff made redundant.
The affected call centre is in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. It is thought the Goldfish head office in London, which has 90 full-time employees, will also close.
