Ark-H aquires Handling Matters

LONDON - Ark-H Handling has acquired 100 per cent of the shares in Handling Matters, a handling and response management company based in St Albans.

The acquisition follows the take over of Diss Promotional Services in 2006 and marketing services company, STM in 2007. Fiona Strong, group managing director at Ark-H, said: “Both Ark-H and Diss have worked with Handling Matters on several projects for a number of years. It seems like a natural progression that they have become part of the Group.”

Handling Matters will relocate its business and staff to the Ark-H facility in Bedford where it will maintain its brand identity as Handling Matters at Ark-H. Once on site, Handling Matters will be able to offer its existing clients more space, improved logistics technology and web-based platforms for management reporting.

“This is the third company we’ve acquired recently and in every case we have bought something that is close enough to our business model so that we can fully understand and absorb it,” Strong said.
