LONDON - BSkyB Publications, the publication arm of BSkyB, will use MPP's 'txt2' mobile platform to interact with consumers across several direct marketing campaigns.
The brand has a portfolio of magazines including Sky Sports Magazine. It will launch SMS competitions, allow customers to respond to ads through text and also to request information from mobile phones.

The 'txt2' service will include ‘txt2win’. These competitions will be paid for by Reverse Billing SMS. Sky Magazine readers will be able to request information to be sent to their email account. This will contain rich content such as audio and video streaming, digital publications or html.
The marketing campaigns will also include a ‘tx2post’ option, which requests a consumer’s address so that brochures and direct mail can be sent through the post. A ‘txt2call’ option offers a call back service where consumers can request a specific time that they would like to be contacted. ‘Txt2vote’ allows Sky to use SMS for polling consumers’ opinions.
Paul Johnson, director of MPP Global Solutions said: We are thrilled to be providing mobile services for BSkyB Publications and look forward to working with them on numerous mobile campaigns over the next 12 months.
