LONDON - Telegraph Media Group has created a single multimedia business department that will produce content for The Daily and The Sunday Telegraph, as well as Telegraph.co.uk.

Each member of the Telegraph Group's business team will now work across all three publications.

However, The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph City sections will retain their own separate identities.

Richard Fletcher has been promoted from deputy City editor to executive editor of business where he will oversee the coordination and planning of all three titles.

As reported earlier this week, Mark Kleinman has been appointed City editor for The Sunday Telegraph working with newly appointed deputy City editor Louise Armitstead.

Richard Blackden, formerly digital City editor, has been promoted to City editor of The Daily Telegraph. He will have a fully integrated role with editing responsibilities across the Daily news pages and website.

Damian Reece will remain head of business across all three platforms. He said: "Integration has paid huge dividends already for both the Telegraph Media Group and the journalists it employs.

"It has allowed us to focus resources on the higher growth areas of our business while maintaining and adding to the success of others. Those areas of the business that have pursued an integrated strategy have seen impressive growth."
