The Times wraps itself around City AM
LONDON - The Times is advertising itself today through a cover-wrap on free business daily newspaper City AM, the first the paper has run.
The ad, bought by media agency MindShare, is targeting the paper's city readers with its own business coverage. The wrap reads: "Sharper business writing. The Times. TimesOnline. No.1 for Business."

Lawson Muncaster, City AM managing director, said: "City AM attracts numerous quality brands from all business sectors aiming to communicate with City AM's unique audience.
"The Times is one of these brands, but I suppose the interest here is that it's from the publishing world. It might well be the first in its kind regarding one publisher utilising another's advertising inventory but its pretty common in the broadcast world."
City AM was launched in September 2005 and is distributed by street vendors Monday to Friday in London's city and Canary Wharf districts.
The paper enjoyed a rise in circulation last month to 100,576 copies, which is an increase of 8% year-on-year.
