Sex and the City's Samantha swaps martinis for milk

NEW YORK - 'Sex and the City' star Kim Cattrall is the latest US celebrity to sport a milk moustache in the long-running "Got milk?" campaign that encourages Americans to drink milk.

The latest campaign will target women at risk of osteoporosis, the bone-thinning disease. The advertisement shows Cattrall, whose 'Sex and the City' character Samantha Jones is famous for her prodigious consumption of men and martinis, rather than milk, in a low-cut dress and sporting the famous milk moustache.

The caption for the ad reads: "You should see what's underneath. The calcium in milk keeps bones strong and helps prevent osteoporosis."

She joins stars as diverse as sprinter Marion Jones and movie star Jackie Chan who have fronted the ads, sponsored by American milk processors and dairy farmers.

The campaign was created by Goody Silverstein & Partners.
