IPC launches Motor Boat awards

IPC Marine titles Motor Boats Monthly and Motor Boat & Yachting have teamed up to launch the first ever Motor Boat of the Year Awards.

The awards will take place on January 8 to coincide with the 2007 London Boat Show.
They will be sponsored by marine warranty insurance specialists ShoreGuard, and will take place at London's Savoy Hotel. They will recognise and celebrate great design, performance and innovation in the production of motor boats.

The awards will be judged by an expert editorial panel from the two magazines. There will be 11 categories, including Best Custom Yacht over 65ft, Best Sports Cruiser under 45ft, and a special service award, as voted for by readers of the magazines via the website www.ybw.com
