Future set to launch new photo magazine

Special interest publisher Future has announced the launch of Photo Plus, an independent title aimed at owners of Canon's SLR digital cameras.

The magazine, which hits newsstands in September, will feature advice on how to take the best photos possible, how to improve pictures in image editing software and make better prints at home.

Photo Plus will also include reviews and tutorials for camera accessories, editing software and printers. It will come with a covermounted CD of video tutorials.

The title, which will be on sale every four weeks, is a sister magazine to Future's Digital Camera.

Issue one of Photo Plus goes on sale on 26 September. It is an independent magazine, not officially endorsed by Canon UK.

In a separate development, Future has completed the sale of three of its parenting titles to Magicalia.
