Zenith, MediaMix pick up Warner Music UK brief

LONDON - Warner Music UK has handed its media planning and buying account, worth £6.7m according to Nielsen Media Research, to ZenithOptimedia and MediaMix.

It is understood that ZenithOptimedia and MediaMix pitched together, beating Aegis agency Carat in a final round shoot-out.

Incumbent PHD declined to repitch for the account, while Vizeum and The7stars were shortlisted.
Warner Music includes artists Green Day, Madonna and Muse and has reduced its media budget in recent years. The review kicked off after Warner appointed a new marketing director, Greg Castell, late last year.

Warner Music UK declined to comment.
