Aimed at business professionals, the first edition of the 100-page LDP Business will hit the streets tomorrow (Wednesday).
The magazine will be complemented by a revamped online business section – Business Week – as well as a social networking site, Business Club.
LDP business editor Bill Gleeson said the new title, which replaces Liverpool Vision magazine, would seek to tap into a “robust” local ad market. Twenty thousand copies will be produced and distributed with the free edition of the Post from city centre pick-up points, and through postal delivery.
The A4-size magazine will cover local business and economic issues, containing news, features and a profile of a prominent Merseyside businessperson in each edition.
The launch edition will feature in-depth analysis of the economic condition of the city, which is hosting an extensive programme of events as European capital of culture 2008.
