The multimedia campaign will run from March until the end of November and for the first time will include a mobile WAP component that will be hosted via CNNmobile.com.
The sponsorship deal will be aired on CNN International’s “Planet in Peril” weekly documentary and will also include sponsorship of the Planet in Peril microsite with banner adverts.
Vestas claims that the 2007 campaign promoted a three-fold increase in its brand awareness to CNN viewers.
No financial details of the deal have been disclosed.

LONDON - CNN International has extended its sponsorship deal with Danish energy company Vestas Wind to cover North America, as well as Europe.
