NatMags revamps Cosmopolitan site

Cosmopolitan.co.uk has recruited a new ad chief and is undergoing a major redesign that includes the introduction of features such as celebrity news offering Cosmo TV.

Leonie Maguire, group head of Cosmopolitan.co.uk, will report to Hearst Digital sales director Stuart Flint. She replaces Sam Malcolm, who has "left to take a career break".

The revamped site will go live in April. Extra features on the Cosmopolitan site include new editorial content and improved user interaction facilities, such as voting, rating and blogging tools. The relaunch comes as Hearst Digital Network, the online division of The National Magazine Company, overhauls its digital business, with plans to close the websites for Good Housekeeping and Country Living magazines. Cosmopolitan.co.uk, which first launched in 2006, currently reaches 176,000 women and has more than 2.3 million page impressions, according to the latest ABCe figures.

The print title recorded a circulation of 460,276, up 1% on the year, according to the latest ABC figures.
