Entries sought for 2008 online awards

 

The AOL Online Planning Awards, in association with Media Week, are now open for entries with a trip to San Francisco up for grabs.

The awards, now in their fourth year, will be judged by a panel chaired by Greg Grimmer, founding partner of Hurrell, Moseley, Dawson & Grimmer. Five awards are up for grabs: Best Use of Online Medium, Best Branding Campaign, Best Cross Platform Campaign and Young Digital Media Person of the Year. A new category, Best Mobile Advertising Campaign, is also being introduced. As well as individual category prizes, an overall Grand Prix winner will win a trip for two to San Francisco.

Also on the judging panel are Emma Jenkins, head of interactive marketing, Proctor & Gamble; Steve Barrett, editor, Media Week; Henry Rowe of digital consultancy FaR; Guy Phillipson, chief executive, IAB, and Duncan George, sales director, AOL UK. The deadline for entries is 4 July and the awards evening will be held on 11 September.
