LONDON - InviseoMedia, the in-flight media company, has secured a deal to install its seatback ad format via airline Flybe.

InviseoMedia already operates in the German market with Germanwings, the low-cost airline that is 49% owned by Lufthansa, and on a pan-European basis with Ryanair. Flybe is predominantly UK focused and carried seven million passengers in 2007.

InviseoMedia provides airline tray-tables set with a panel for printed ads. Revenue from advertisers is shared with the airline.

Recent advertisers using InviseoMedia include Microsoft, Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

Simon Lilley, Flybe director of marketing, noted Flybe is the first UK airline to install seatback advertising with InviseoMedia.

Marc Mendoza, managing partner of agency MPG, said: "Consumers on the move and in particular airline passengers have always been an interesting audience for advertisers."
