LONDON - Doubledown Media, the publisher of titles aimed at wealthy business people, is to launch Dealmaker, a quarterly business and luxury lifestyle magazine.
Doubledown Media will target the new title at investment bankers, venture capitalists and workers in private equity. Two issues will be published this year, with four issues scheduled to appear in 2009.

Dealmaker will be sent to 40,000 people working in the finance industry, and the publisher is aiming to get high-end sponsors on board for launch.
The publisher's flagship title Trader Monthly, previously co-published with Dow Jones, will, from this month, be published solely by Doubledown Media, which was founded by entrepreneur Magnus Greaves.
Last month, Matthew O'Mara was promoted to UK advertising director at Doubledown Media. He was previously UK agency advertising manager.
