Haws, who has worked in media sales for 25 years, has a remit to develop client media strategies and forge relationships with outdoor specialists and their clients.
Admedia joint chief executive Philip Vecht said: "Andy brings with him a great deal of business acumen and vast experience, including an understanding of the communications needs of major UK brands."
The news follows the recent appointment of former Grey London and Lowe London chief executive Garry Lace as Admedia's managing director. His aim is to double the size of the business over the next three years.
Last month, Marc Medonza, a managing partner of the Media Planning Group, joined Admedia as a non-executive director.
Recent Admedia clients include Orange, Virgin Media, EasyJet and The Telegraph.
