Butler departs Telegraph role

LONDON - Telegraph group head Kimberly Butler has left the media company after five years without a job to go to, with her departure prompting a restructure of the group's advertising travel team.

Butler departs Telegraph role

Butler headed the travel department's client solutions division, working across a number of areas including advertorials and sponsored content.

Some of her responsibilities have been taken on by Cheryl Johnson, who previously ran the travel sales team, but has returned from maternity leave to handle some of Butler's creative solutions work.

The rest of Butler's responsibilities will be handled by the other members of the travel team, which the client sales team has now been folded into as part of a restructure.

Separately, Telegraph Media  Group last week appointed Mike Allen from News International to the newly created role of development agency manager.
